Early life
On January 9, 1989, Michael Paul Beasley Jr. was born in Cheverly, Maryland, to parents Fatima Smith and Michael Beasley Sr. Michael has four siblings: Leroy Ellison, Malik Smith, Mychaela Beasley and Tiffany Couch.
He moved to Fredrick with his family in 2005 and stayed there for only a year, but his mother passed away from cancer in 2018. He attended a variety of schools, including Bowie High School in Bowie, Maryland and National Christian Academy in Fort Washington, Maryland, to name just a few.

Michael has had a passion for basketball since he was a child. He started playing basketball in high school and has never looked back. He won several national championships while playing for the PG Jaguars.
