Early life and education
Michelle Pfeiffer was born on April 29, 1958 and grew up in Santa Ana, California, USA. She is the second of four children in the family. She has an older brother named Rick Pfeiffer and two younger sisters, Dee Dee Pfeiffer, born in 1964, and Lori Pfeiffer, born in 1965.
Her father, Richard Pfeiffer, was an air conditioning contractor, and her mother, Donna Pfeiffer, was a homemaker. Her maternal grandfather was of Swiss-German descent, and her maternal grandmother was of Swedish descent.
Michelle Pfeiffer’s paternal grandfather is of German descent, and her paternal grandmother is of English, Welsh, French, Irish, and Dutch descent. The family moved to Midway, Orange County, where she spent her early years.
Michelle Pfeiffer attended Fountain Valley High School and graduated in 1976. She worked as a cashier at a Vons supermarket and attended Golden West College.
