Mickey Grassi is of mixed descent. He is half Italian, half Scottish, Irish, and Welsh. His parents moved from Arlington to the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas in the mid-1980s. His father worked in the aviation industry. Mickey Grassi received his high school education at Martin High School.
