The Minnesota Vikings once again caused a stir thanks to their impressive jumps.
On December 23, the Vikings played the Seattle Seahawks. During the game, Vikings safety Theo Jackson intercepted the Seahawks’ quarterback with less than a minute left in the game to win a close game against the Seahawks. They won 27-24, extending their winning streak to 13 with only two losses this season.
To celebrate W-day, the Vikings’ defensive team gathered in the end zone to recreate some dance moves from the classic Disney Channel movie, Stone Camp 2. They mimicked the scene from the movie where Demi Lovato’s character as well as everyone else on the move performed a celebratory dance from the show as they moved down the street as a single unit.
Earlier this month, the group made Marlon Wayans a fan when they recreated a dance from his movie White chicks. Players Camryn Bynum and Josh Metellus imitated the moves of Marlon and Shawn Wayans White chicks character in the 2004 film.
Before the dance, Metellus intercepted Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins ββin the first half. He was then joined by Bynum in the end zone, where he performed a dance fight scene with his teammates to the tune of “It’s Tricky” by Run-DMC.
The celebration went viral and it eventually caught the attention of Wayans, who posted a clip of the dance to his Instagram account along with clips from White chicks.
“My brother-in-law is a die-hard @dodgers @lakers fan and the @vikings are in heaven TROLLING me right now! Not dancing white chicks πππ d-mn Greg, I know this is you,β he said
Wayans’ caption mentioned his brother-in-law, Greg, who passed away earlier this year.
Before White chicks dance, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero shared that Bynum practiced his dance moves before performing them on live television.
“We’ve seen it a million times. Mental repetition is everything. It’s like watching a movie. You watch it, then say ‘Okay, Josh, we’ve got to master it.’ According to Pelissero, it takes 30 minutes a day to master it. Now we know.
Bynum: “We’ve seen it a million times. The psychology is everything. It’s like watching a movie. You watch it, then ‘okay, Josh, we have to master it.’ It takes 30 minutes a day to master it. So now we know. So before every game, we go over it.
