Early life and education

Monalisa Chinda was born on September 13, 1974 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria to Ikwerre parents.

She is the eldest of two sons and four daughters.

Monalisa Chinda attended the General Army Academy (GRA) for primary school and then the Archdeacon Crowther Memorial Girls School in Elerenwo. Both schools are located in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

She holds a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt.
