Morrissey was forced to abruptly end a concert in Texas after unruly fans invaded the stage [Watch Video]

Morrissey’s concert in Texas became so chaotic that the singer eventually had to abruptly stop the performance.

On Saturday, the 65-year-old singer-songwriter was performing an encore at his concert at Fair Park Music Hall in Dallas, Texas, when some unruly fans suddenly stormed the stage.

In video of the incident uploaded to X, a woman is first seen approaching Morrissey while he is performing his final song “First of the Gang to Die”. She calmly approached the male singer and hugged him, which he then accepted.

Another woman soon ran towards the musician and did the same thing, causing several security guards to stop her.

But the chaos didn’t end there, as more and more fans randomly ran onto the stage for a chance to confront Morrissey, who tried his best to keep singing.

However, when three people who came to see the concert surrounded him and started tugging at his clothes, the male singer’s bodyguards struggled to control the situation.

As things got heated, the former frontman of The Smiths decided to end the show and walked backstage, causing other fans below the stage to scream in frustration.

The boos became even more intense when the band members stopped playing and walked off the stage.

According to the person who uploaded the video, one of the artist’s crew members was injured in the commotion.

Many social media users could not believe what happened after watching video clips of the incident shared by some attendees and news agencies.

“People are getting so crazy,” one person wrote, while another asked, “What’s wrong with people?”

Another commented: “I was there too… quite crazy.”
