early life
Ms Banks was born in South London on April 14, 1994. Her father is Nigerian, from Delta State in southeast Nigeria, and her mother is Ugandan. She grew up in the Walworth Road neighborhood in South London.
Ms. Banks discovered her musical talent at an early age and began writing songs at the age of 11. She would sing these songs in front of her classmates at school events. She also participated in rap competitions held in the community. This helped her develop her rap skills.
It wasn’t long before Ms. Banks found a studio and began recording rap songs she had written.
