Early life and education
Muyiwa Ademola was born on January 26, 1971 in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State in southwestern Nigeria.

The 53-year-old son of Isaiah Ademola and Ruth Ademola, he attended St. David’s High School in Molet, Ibadan and obtained his West African Secondary School Certificate.
He later attended the University of Ibadan where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education.
Muyiwa Ademola entered the Nigerian film industry through Charles Olumo, also known as Agbako, who lived in his hometown of Abeokuta. Later, he met a film director named SI Ola, who taught him acting and filmmaking.
He officially started his acting career in 1991. In 1995, he wrote his first film script, called Asise, which means BLUNDER in English. The film was sponsored by Dibel, a generator manufacturer.
He has produced, directed and starred in several Yoruba Nigerian films since 1995. In January 2013, he reportedly met with a fatal accident and nearly lost his life.

Muyiwa Ademola is married to his wife Omolala Ademola. They met 17 years ago and have been married for 13 years. The couple got married on June 23, 2006.
