Tensions rise during a parliamentary inspection led by the Ministry of Culture, where Kwon Young-ik faces charges related to kidnapping and attempted murder. With the damning video footage, Jae-Won uncovers Young-ik’s crimes and is eventually arrested by Detective Oh Soo-Jin.
However, the episode does not end on a happy note. Although initially relieved, Jae-Won still suspects Kwon Yoon-Jin of being involved in this sinister plot. As the pieces of the mystery come together, it is revealed that Yoon-Jin has been working for him. The storyline takes a chilling turn when Jae-Won, Te-Oh, and the audience discover that the police have dragged a lifeless body from where the key witness, Baek Seung-Gyu, lived.
