Nadia Buari was born on November 21, 1982 in the remote town of Sekondi-Takoradi, Ghana to a Lebanese father and a Ghanaian mother. Her parents are Sidiku Buari (father) and Hajiya Buari (mother).

She has five siblings: Malik Buari, Aysha Buari, Shaida Buari, Jameel Buari and Jeed Rogers.

Her biological father is from Lebanon. Her father divorced her mother, a beautician from Ghana named Hajia Buari. Hajia Buari later married Alhaji Sidiku Buari, who raised Nadia Buari as his own child and adopted her.

Nadia Buari’s stepfather is a man of many talents. He is not only a musician, but also a producer and served as the president of MUSIGHA, where he worked for eight years. Later, he served as the vice president of IFM (International Federation of Musicians).

She decided to follow in her stepfather’s footsteps and go into the entertainment industry. Throughout her school years, she nurtured her talents by participating in school dance and drama clubs.
