Itachi Uchiha – Reanimation:

The Reanimated Itachi is a character introduced in Season 4 of the game. While functioning similarly to his original version, his Strong Attacks now incorporate his Bird Clone Jutsu techniques, providing him with increased speed. His Ninjutsu abilities include the powerful Tsukuyomi, a Genjutsu that can immobilize enemies and create illusionary attacks while allowing the user to take other actions.

Sasuke Uchiha – The Last:

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, known as Naruto: Narutimate Storm in Japan, is the initial entry in the Ultimate Ninja Storm series. It is a fighting game developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Namco Bandai Games. The game debuted on the PlayStation 3 (PS3) in North America, Europe, and Australia in November 2008, followed by its release in Japan on January 15, 2009.

It is based on the beloved manga and anime series Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto, serving as the first installment of the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series on the PS3. A sequel titled Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 arrived in Japan, North America, and Europe in October 2010 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Additionally, two more sequels, namely Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 and Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, were released in 2013 and 2016 respectively.

Naruto Storm Gameplay

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm introduces several new gameplay elements while retaining the core mechanics of the Ultimate Ninja series. Unlike previous games, Ultimate Ninja Storm allows players to engage in battles within dynamic three-dimensional environments, departing from the traditional two-dimensional planes.

One notable addition in Ultimate Ninja Storm is the “Awakening Mode,” which triggers when a player’s character reaches a certain level of health depletion during a match. The health threshold varies for each character and determines the potency of their transformation. Activating Awakening Mode grants the character enhanced abilities, increased speed, and more powerful attacks.

Some characters even gain entirely new movesets upon transformation. Additionally, players can utilize preset items during battles to inflict damage on opponents or apply status effects such as boosting attack power or weakening the enemy’s defense. Customization options are available for character jutsu, and players can select two support characters to assist them during matches.

Another returning feature is the “jutsu clash” mode, triggered when both players activate their special attacks simultaneously. This mode requires players to rapidly press the corresponding button to repel their opponent. Each character possesses an “ultimate jutsu,” which, when successfully executed, prompts a button input challenge or a rapid button-mashing sequence within a time limit.

The outcome determines whether the ultimate jutsu connects, inflicting significant damage ranging from a third to an entire health bar of the opponent. Characters also possess an “ultimate impact” ability, where holding down the melee button charges up a devastating strike. If landed, the game zooms in for a close-up cinematic, depicting the opponent taking a powerful blow.

The game features a roster of 25 playable characters, all of whom can serve as support characters during battles. Additionally, ten support-only characters were released as free downloadable content in the five months following the game’s release. Downloadable content also includes alternative costumes and new missions.

The story mode loosely follows the events of Part I of the manga and anime. Players can explore the Hidden Leaf Village as a central hub between missions, unlocking further missions and progressing through the narrative
