Early life and education
Nash Grier was born on December 8, 1997 in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States.
He was raised by both his parents, Elizabeth Floyd, his mother, and his father, Chad Grier, who is said to be one of his managers. He has two older brothers: Hayes Grier and Will Grier, and an older sister named Skylynn Elizabeth Floyd.
Nash Grier comes from a Christian family. He still maintains his faith to this day. He attended local elementary and high schools in Carolina. He is considered the second oldest in his family. His older brother, Will Grier, is a football quarterback.

When the Vine app was released to the public to explore its potential, Nash Grier was still a freshman at Davidson Day School. He then started posting six-second comedy videos on the app. He became so popular that he considered it a career.
Career
After the now-defunct video app launched in 2013, Nash Grier began posting short clips to his page. He exploded on Vine, the same platform that launched the likes of Lele Pons, David Dobrik, Liza Koshy, Jake Paul, Logan Paul, and King Bach to fame.
That same year in October, he joined a group on Vine called Magcon (Meet and Greet Convention), hosted by Bart Bordelon, where other popular Viners and he opened a medium for fans to connect with their favorite Viners through video calls. They could ask questions and interact with the stars.
The Magcon team features social media superstars like Shawn Mendes, Jack Johnson, Jack Gilinsky, Matthew Espinosa, Cameron Dallas, Nash Grier, Aaron Carpenter, Taylor Caniff, Mahogany LOX, and Carter Reynolds.
In April 2014, the Magcon group disbanded for unknown reasons. Nash Grier then moved to Los Angeles with another Magcon member, Cameron Dallas. They started another Vine group called DigiFest, where the characters would perform comedy skits and dances. Viewers were also invited to join their QA sessions.
The newly formed group then created fun games for people to enjoy playing, called CashDash, Mobli, and Challenged. Nash Grier also has a clothing line website where fans can buy clothes through a website he created called UnitedXXVI.
Nash Grier has also had major roles, such as his role in Fullscreen’s film Outfield which premiered on the iTunes store in 2015.
