Matthew MacFadzean and Natalie Lisinska tied the knot on May 25, 2013 and more than a decade later, the two are still going strong!
The couple recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary at Rapscallion & Co. in Hamilton, ON, “reflects on all that’s happened in a decade, how we’ve grown and changed.”
Additionally, sharing photos of their dinner date, Matthew later took to his IG to write, “I can’t imagine life without this person. She is my home, my heart and makes me laugh from morning to night. Luckiest guy out there and I know it.”
Two years before that, Matthew also celebrated their anniversary on IG, “8 years married to this silly girl. The most fun I’ve ever had. Love you forever”
But Matthew doesn’t limit his love to just words. On their 9th anniversary, he gave The Lake actor a bonafide mushroom log laced with shiitake mushroom spores.
So what is their secret to having a healthy marriage? Understanding (thanks to their common profession), and lots of dates and vacations.

In this case, different but not different. We now talk openly about racism. And privilege.” he wrote.
For those who don’t know, Matthew is one of the celebrities supporting the blacklivesmatter movement in 2023. He even signed up for a training course on sharing privilege, “to learn more and educate himself myself in ways that I did not know. ”

Furthermore, Matthew is a founding member of Hamilton’s Industry. Their latest projects include Fable for a New World, bringing together artists from Canada, Australia, England, Japan, Poland, South Africa and Korea, and The Garden Project, to has now raised over $30K for Hamilton BIPGM artists and their mentors.
