early life
Nectunezi was born on July 13 in the early 1990s to Ghanaian parents. His parents gave him an English name, “Noble”, because his parents believed that he would live a different life when he grew up and become a celebrity in the future.
He received a good Christian education from an early age and began attending the Catholic Church at an early age. His parents’ Christian faith ensured that he received a good moral education from an early age. In addition, his parents instilled in him the principles of hard work, perseverance, and self-discipline.
As his name suggests, Nektunez showed signs that he was destined to take an unusual path since his teenage years, when he developed a keen interest in music and aspired to become a music producer.

He completed his primary and secondary education at top private schools in Kumasi. After obtaining his West African School Certificate, he enrolled at the University of Ghana.

During his freshman year at university, Nectunezi decided that he wanted to pursue music production. His dream was to become one of the greatest producers Africa has ever produced. So, he paid someone to teach him the basics of sound production and practiced in his apartment during his free time. After a few months, he had honed his sound production skills and started producing beats for underground artists at university.
During this time, he came up with the stage name Nektunez. He also further explored his songwriting abilities and began writing songs, composing beats and recording lyrics in a makeshift studio in his apartment.
After graduating from college, he decided to pursue a full-time career in music, working as a recording artist, music producer, mixer, and mastering/sound engineer. Fortunately, Nektunez quickly found his way into the industry, as many emerging artists and A-listers approached him for collaborations.
So far, he has produced beats for Eugy, Dance God, Evans Scott, Kobby Wills, Camidoh, etc. He collaborated with Evans Scott on the latter’s chart-topping EP “God Creates, Man Makes”.
In 2021, Nektunez’s most significant breakthrough as a musician came when he teamed up with Nigerian rising rapper and pop singer Goya Menor. The two hit it off due to their similar musical tastes and decided to record a remix of the popular party song “Ameno Amapiano”. As they had hoped, the “Ameno Amapiano” remix became an instant hit, sweeping across the African continent and even reaching Western countries such as the UK, the US and Canada.
The song made Nektunez famous and many big names in the African music industry wanted to work with him. The success of the song gave him the opportunity to perform in several music shows in Ghana and Nigeria.
