New legal risks emerge in sex trafficking scandal

Sean “Diddy” Combs is said to have forced women to participate in lengthy, drug-fueled sexual performances that could last for days at a time.

Dubbed a “freak” by Bad Boy Records producers, prosecutors allege Diddy controlled his victims through aggressive and manipulative behavior. Authorities found a hidden arsenal of weapons they believe were used to threaten and intimidate victims and witnesses during a raid on his Miami home.

In a recent press conference, Damian Williams, United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, detailed the allegations against Diddy, giving a clear picture of the situation.

It was revealed that he was accused of “using the business empire he controlled to carry out criminal activities including sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice”.

He further claimed that Diddy “used force, threats of force, and coercion to induce victims to engage in extended sexual performances with male sex workers, some of whom he transported or forced to transport across state lines.”

According to the indictment, the “I Need A Girl” rapper allegedly orchestrated and supervised these unconventional events, often recording them electronically.

Long-term drug users and heavy drinkers were reportedly sent IV bags by post to aid their recovery after the wild festival.

The legal document also highlights specific items discovered by federal agents at the musician’s residences in Los Angeles and Miami Beach, Florida.

According to the official charges, Diddy kept 1,000 cases of lubricants and baby oil at two of his residences, in addition to several illegal substances that were allegedly used at the gatherings.

In a recent interview with The US Sun, Neama Rahmani, a former federal prosecutor, mentioned that individuals involved in Diddy’s alleged criminal activity could potentially be charged for actions as minor as purchasing materials for perverts.

“Even if someone helped Diddy obtain the baby oil used in these sex acts, they could still be charged with sex trafficking as an accomplice, even if they did not actually participate in the sex acts. So individuals who were witnesses and even passive participants could be criminally prosecuted here,” he said.

“If you are an accomplice, it doesn’t matter whether you knew what the plot was or not, you are still responsible for everything,” the expert continued.

He also mentioned that potential co-conspirators could include people who were involved in the unusual events or were members of Diddy’s crew at the time.

“For example, someone could be the IV nurse who arrived after a ‘Freak Off’ occurred and although he or she only administered IVs to the victim and participants, the nurse [could be] charged with sex trafficking for his part in the conspiracy.”

There is no indication that nurses played a role. However, according to legal records, individuals affected by these incidents often received intravenous fluids, with some sessions lasting for days.

Rahmani said the prosecution expects to give potential co-defendants the opportunity to testify at the federal trial.

Despite the ability to do so, officials are not expected to prosecute individuals recruited by Diddy. However, there is another group of individuals who could face potential charges.

“There is another group of people who are also of concern, and that is people who did not work for Combs but engaged in sexual acts.”

“They should be afraid because they could also be charged.”

“However, if there are other individuals who have information but do not cooperate, they may be charged later.”

“So I think they’re going to wait and see how much cooperation they can get from other individuals before they go back to the jury.”
