Nick Cannon admits Mariah Carey doesn’t want to rekindle her relationship with him: ‘She’s moved on’

Nick Cannon is taking a different tack, declaring last month that he would love a second chance at love with ex-wife Mariah Carey.

When Cannon, 43, attended Fox Fall Press Day in LA on Thursday, he responded to his previous statement about getting back together with the “Touch My Body” hitmaker. But instead of expressing hope for a possible reunion, he threw in the towel, saying Carey, 55, no longer wanted him.

“Yeah, she doesn’t want me. She’s already forgotten about my crazy antics,” the “Your Pops Don’t Like Me” artist shared exclusively with People magazine at the event.

In August, Cannon made headlines when he revealed that he still hoped to rekindle his relationship with Mariah, despite it having been eight years since their split.

“We belong together,” he told E! News at the time, adding that it would be “stupid to [he] not “back” with the award-winning singer.

Cannon expressed his desire for him and Carey to get back together months after Carey confirmed her split from Brian Tanaka last December.

Meanwhile, in the same interview with People, the “Wild ‘n Out” host shared that he finds it “very scary” that his twins with Carey Moroccan and Monroe are teenagers. Both officially turned 13 in April.

“Teenage years are scary. I feel like I’m still a teenager. It’s scary to see my daughter actually become a teenager before my eyes,” he said.

In addition to Moroccan and Monroe, Cannon has fathered 10 more children with five different women since splitting from Carey in 2016.
