Jonas Brothers’ Nick Jonas subtly shared his support for Tesla CEO Elon Musk after the pair shared their interaction on social media.
On December 17, the singer had a friendly interaction with Musk, who first shared a post in response to an article from Tesla Owner Silicon Valley, which claimed that his profits Tesla is “up 100%” since President-elect Donald Trump won the November election.
Musk responded to the post with a GIF of the Jonas Brothers spinning around a small wooden coffee table.
“My God, how the situation has turned!” he captioned the post.
Hours later, Jonas quoted Musk’s Twitter post accompanying his band’s hit song, “The Year 3000.”
Next to a photo of the SpaceX founder, he wrote: “Take us to the Year 3000.”
However, not long after, fans of the boy band also shared their disdain for the male singer.
“I feel like we need an 8th thing to hate you,” one person said alongside a GIF of Jonas’ famous ex, Miley Cyrus.
“And just like that… you’ll never get beaten again!” other sharing.

Musk’s net worth has only increased since he publicly supported Trump in the 2024 election. His net worth has been raised to more than $400 billion, according to Independence. Since then, he was appointed by Trump to head the government efficiency department along with Vivek Ramaswamy.
Jonas was criticized for appearing to support Musk after country singer Jelly Roll was criticized by some fans for a friendly interaction with Trump at a UFC fight.
However, Jelly later denied that he supported Trump, insisting that he did not “know enough about politics” but rather would meet with any president if given the chance.
