He is an American professional football quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL).
Nick Mullens played college football for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, where he set yet another incredible record and surpassed Brett Favre’s single-season record for passing yards (4,476) and touchdown passes (38).
He played for the San Francisco 49ers from 2017 to 2020.

Early life
Suzanne Mullens and Mark Mullens had Nick in 1995 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He grew up with his family in Hoover, Alabama, a suburb of Birmingham.
He is the grandson of Ernie Tabor, who was a pitcher for the Philadelphia team.

Nick Mullens’ career started off on a high note, setting a number of unprecedented records during his college days that gave him an edge over his peers. He became the first true Southern Miss quarterback to pass for more than 300 yards in a single game, a record that the most decorated player in college history, Brett Favre, has never achieved.
In November 2013, Nick Mullens played a key role in helping Southern Miss end a 24-game losing streak with a five-touchdown performance against the University of Alabama-Birmingham.
Nick Mullens signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2017 and entered training camp as the fourth backup quarterback on the roster behind veteran Brian Hoyer and two others.
Nick Mullens was cut from the 49ers’ final roster in September 2017, but was signed to the practice squad the following day. He was signed by the 49ers in January 2018 as a reserve/futures player.
Nick Mullens has largely played a backup role to Jimmy Garoppolo, and as a result, he only appeared in one game during the 2019 season.
On March 5, 2020, Nick Mullens was assigned a one-year, $750,000 exclusive rights free agent contract by the 49ers.
