The 2024 BET Hip-Hop Awards have come to a close, focusing on Nicki Minaj’s victory as the night’s featured winner and marking an exciting new achievement.

At the ceremony, Minaj won Hip Hop Album of the Year for “Pink Friday 2,” making her the first and only female rapper in BET Hip Hop Awards history to win in the coveted category.

In September, the hitmaker’s album “Super Bass” returned to three Billboard charts, thanks to a surge in direct sales leading up to its scheduled release date.

At the time, Forbes reported that sales of Minaj’s latest album had skyrocketed a remarkable 875% in just one week.

This comes amid Minaj making it clear that she is committed to staying connected with her fans.

Despite rumors suggesting otherwise, she emphatically dismissed any notion of a break, insisting in her unique way that she “ain’t going anywhere.”

After her successful US tour, “Pink Friday 2”, Minaj closed out the return leg with a memorable performance at UBS Arena in Elmont.

A tweet from Minaj’s fan account garnered widespread attention, claiming that the famous rapper had revealed his plans to take a break, sparking fans’ curiosity.

When asked about the source of this news, the fan page user cited Minaj mentioning it during a Stationhead broadcast.

She added in a tweet, “We don’t announce a hiatus, Barbz. Crack is awesome. We don’t do that. ‘Dem like to chat, dem no run dem block!’ Just relax & [mediating emoji] Let what will…be *dramatic cinematic music begins*”
