Elsie Fisher began her acting career at the age of 6 when she landed a role in the television series Medium. She then voiced Agnes in the film Despicable Me.

Elsie’s career peaked when she was praised by critics for her outstanding performance as teenage girl Kayla Day in the Netflix film Eighth Grade. She even received multiple nominations and awards for her performance, including a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical.
