She attended DEKS (Discipline, Excellence, Kindness, Service) International School in Tema, then continued her high school education at Holy Child High School where she majored in Visual Arts.
For her undergraduate studies, she attended Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Communication Design.
Career
In 2005, Nikki Samonas became known when she starred in the television series Ladies and Gentlemen produced by the creators of Things We Do For Love.
She also appeared in Beyoncé, The President’s Daughter, where she played her first leading role. Other leading roles were also given to her, where she proved herself to be an excellent actress.
In 2010/2011, she hosted the African Review Show produced by Farm House Productions. During that time, she also became a commercial model and her first major contract was with iconic fashion jeweler Chris Aire.
In 2015, she directed her debut film, Love at the Time of Odwira, which became a hit across Ghana.
Nikki Samonas is the host of African Movie Review and also the host of Breakfast Live, a morning talk show on TV Africa.
