early life
Northboi Soco Master was born in Kano State and has spent most of his life in the North.
He moved to Abuja but never gave up his love for music. Northboi moved between some states in northern Nigeria such as Abuja, Bauchi, Sokoto, Maiduguri and Jos.
Northboi was born on April 4 and is from Kogi State, Nigeria.
In an interview, he claimed that the North is his culture and he is a northerner.
Music career
Northboi started making music with his peers around the age of 5, listening to songs such as Psquare, Mi Abaga and Don Jazzy.
His father was indifferent to his music and wanted him to do more than just music. This led to a big argument between him and his father, forcing him to move from Lokoja to Lagos to live with his brother.
It was in Lagos that he began working with Ceeza Milli, which led to him being awarded the title of Soco Master.
Northboi gave up school at 300L and moved to Lagos permanently, eventually working at Ikeja Studio under Adex.
Northboi and Ceeza have a closer relationship because he was able to find a mini studio for himself, but as a newcomer, he needs to make new friends.
During the production process, he sent some of the beats he produced to Ceeza, they struck a deal, and then Wizkid called him. That was the beginning of the journey of this superstar record producer.

A few days later, Wizkid invited him to be part of Beyonce’s debut in The Lion King and he produced a song for the album. The album features many artistes like Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Shatta Wale, etc., all produced by him.
His debut album, which Beyoncé dubbed “Keys to the Kingdom,” was an amazing moment in his life, and he called it a miracle.
Northboi received $5,000 as partial payment for the deal. Beyoncé’s influence is evident in this album and has had a positive impact on his music and career.
