Her father’s name is Bheki Ngcobo. Ntombi Ngcobo Mzolo grew up with her siblings and they were heavily influenced by their parents’ musical background.

August 2009 must have been the happiest day in Ntombi Ngcobo Mzolo’s life; that was the month and year she married her love, a film producer simply known as Sizwe Mzolo.

But Ntombi’s love life has taken a turn; after five years of marriage, Ntombi Ngcobo Mzolo revealed why she wanted to end the marriage due to some personal reasons which she did not want to be known to the public.

After she revealed that she wanted to end the marriage, there were rumors that she might have been suffering from domestic violence in the marriage. These rumors were not confirmed as she refuted them and called them fake news.

The couple had a lovely daughter whom they named Vunani Mzolo. But unfortunately, in September 2021, their daughter met with a horrific car accident which claimed her life. The incident left both the couples traumatized.

Ntombi Ngcobo Mzolo revealed the news of her daughter’s death in an interview. She said, ‘I don’t think I’m brave enough to talk about it right now, but she died in a car accident. We are heartbroken and we are still trying to get over the loss of our daughter. Vunani Mzolo was the couple’s second child and the second to tragically die. Six years into their marriage, the couple also lost their newborn baby, whom they named Dunamis Mzolo.
