Odunlade Adekola (born December 31, 1976) is another versatile Nigerian actor, singer, filmmaker, businessman, producer and director.
He is best known for his role as the lead character in the 2003 Ishola Durojaye film, Asiri Gomina Wa, and has since appeared in a number of Nigerian films.
He is the founder and CEO of Odunlade Adekola Film Productions (OAFP). He is married to Ruth Adekola and has 4 children.

Early life and education
He is a native of Otun Ekiti, Ekiti State. Odunlade Adekola was born on December 31, 1976. He was born and raised in Abeokuta, Ogun State, but is from Otun Ekiti, Ekiti State. His father is BA Adekola. He also has an elder sister named Jethro Oyekanmi Adekola.
Odunlade Adekola attended St. John’s Primary School and St. Peter’s College in Abeokuta, Ogun State, before passing the West African School Certificate Examination. He then attended Moshhude Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) where he obtained a Diploma Certificate.
Odunlade Adekola continued his studies and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Lagos in May 2018.

Odunlade Adekola began his acting career in 1996 and joined the Nigerian Association of Theatre Arts Practitioners in the same year. He has starred in, produced and directed many Nigerian films.
In April 2014, Odunlade Adekola won the African Movie Academy Actor of the Year Award.

The couple reportedly met at a vigil organised by the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Abeokuta in 1995. A few months after they met, the actor proposed to her.
In the same year, the two finally exchanged wedding vows in the presence of their relatives and friends, setting the tone for their love.
Ruth Adekola was gathered to be born on November 2. She is said to be from Ekiti State and attended Moshoe Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, where her husband also graduated.
