early life
Olivia Dean was born in Walthamstow, London in 1999 to middle-class parents. She spent her early years in the town before her family moved to the East End of London.
Growing up, she was exposed to a variety of music genres and artists. But her favorites remain Aretha Franklin and Amy Whitehouse. She also enjoys the music of artists such as Carole King and Solange Knowles.
She is an extremely talented musical artist who began honing her singing and songwriting skills at a young age. With the encouragement of her parents, she decided to take her talent more seriously and began taking music lessons at an early age.
