Early life
Omuhle Gela was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Gela in the eastern city of Johannesburg, South Africa.
Omuhle’s mother gave birth in one of the city’s hospitals on November 19, 1991.
She grew up in Johannesburg with people from different parts of the country, which sparked in her an interest in getting involved in the entertainment industry.
At first, she considered pursuing a career as an actress or a singer before deciding to pursue the former.

She completed her primary, middle and high school education in Johannesburg.

Her character is the daughter of James Motsamia and Doobsie Mukwevho, who returns from Japan to become a schemer in the series.
This role catapulted Omuhle into the spotlight as she became a household name. The show had more than five million viewers.
She also played a recurring role in Zabalaza, a Mzansi Magic soap opera.

In 2015, she was cast in the e.tv series, Umlilo, where she played the role of Andile – the eldest daughter of Mnqobi and Cebisile.
