Oscar Mbongeni Ndlovu (born 7 August 1990), professionally known as Oscar Mbo, is a South African record producer, podcast host and DJ.
He is the founder of Oscar Mbo Productions, a house music production company specializing in deep house, deep tech, Nu Jazz, broken beat and Lounge, which is his brainchild.
After establishing himself as a popular underground music producer and DJ, he decided to start sharing his skills and love for music production and audio engineering through a podcast.
With listeners from all over the world, Oscar Mbo’s The Oscar Mbo Podcast has become one of the most successful podcasts in the dance music industry.

Early life
Oscar Mbo was born in Pretoria and grew up in Kriel, Mpumalanga, west of Witbank, where he spent most of his childhood.
At the age of 33, after graduating from high school, Oscar Mbo studied Fine Arts at Technikon Witwatersrand (TUKS) before moving to Johannesburg in 2001.
Living for many years in the inner-city suburb of Hillbrow, Oscar Mbo was constantly exposed to the noise and bustle of the streets.

Career
Oscar Mbo released his debut EP, Life & Love, in September 2019 and his debut album, Golden Power, in November. He is also a member of Golden Boys Entertainment, a trio.
He has also been on Kaya FM’s Platinum Friday with Thabo “Tbose” Mokwele, Metro FM, TransAfrica Radio and Vuzu’s music show Hit Refresh. Diesel has given him his seal of approval.
In 2019, Oscar Mbo embarked on his first international tour, appearing at DJOON Club in Paris and DJ Shimza’s One Man Show in Mozambique. He also performed at festivals such as Swaziland’s House Musiq Festival and Witbank’s Wololo Music Festival, where he was the headliner.
Oscar Mbo released For The Groovists, his second studio album, in October 2020, which featured Amapiano producer Kabza De Small and was nominated for Best Dance Album at the 27th South African Music Awards.
In February 2021, he and singer Brian Temba performed at the Blizz Lounge in Pretoria. His EP, Defenders of House, was released in July 2021.
