P-Square, a famous Nigerian twin music duo, was born in Jos on November 18, 1981. The brothers hail from Ifite Dunu town in Anambra State.

Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye’s mother, Josephine Okoye, and father, Pa. Moses Okoye, both worked in various business enterprises. Rudeboy and Mr. P, known as P-Square, was raised alongside their siblings: Jude Okoye, Mary Okoye, Lilian Okoye, Ifeanyi Okoye, Tony Okoye and Henry Okoye.

P-Square then attended St. Mary’s High School Murumbaa small Catholic institution in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, where they received their West African Secondary School Certificate.

Career

Back in 1999, a duo with musical aspirations began their journey under the moniker Smooth crime. However, it wasn’t until 2005 that they changed their name to the famous P-Square and introduced their debut album, Get squared, with the world. This album achieved significant commercial success and played a pivotal role in establishing P-Square as one of Nigeria’s leading music artists.

Their musical prowess continued with subsequent top-rated albums such as Around, The game endsAnd Double trouble. These albums received critical acclaim and won many prestigious awards, including the MTV Africa Music Award for Best Group, cementing their status as musical stars. Popular music in Africa.

Peter’Mr. P’ Okoye is married to Lola Omotayo-Okoye, a marketing representative. Together, they are the proud parents of two beautiful children, son Cameron Okoye and daughter Aliona Okoye. Their wedding took place in 2013 and was very grand, welcomed by many Nigerian celebrities and distinguished guests.

A famous musician, Paul ‘Rudeboy’ Okoye is happily married to Anita Isama-Okoye, a talented lawyer. Their love journey began in 2014 when they exchanged vows in a small and private wedding ceremony.
