He is a famous Nigerian singer, writer, dancer and one of the members of the popular duo P-Square.
He and his twin brother were born on November 19, 1981. He is the twin brother of Paul Okoye, who is known as Rudeboy, but they separated after a conflict.
He has been actively involved in directing his own personal music videos. Fans and family members affectionately call him “Mr. P”.

Peter Okoye popularly known as Mr. P was born in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, which happens to be from Anambra State in the eastern part of Nigeria. His parents are Mazi Moses Okoye and Josephine Okoye, and he grew up with his siblings Rudeboy, Jude Okoye, Mary Okoye, Ifeanyi Okoye, Lilian Okoye, Henry Okoye, and Tony Okoye.
Born into a large family of seven children, his interest in music began when he and his twin brother were still in secondary school, when they all began performing as dancers.
According to him, Michael Jackson influenced his and his brother’s career. When he started his career as a teenager, he and his brother used various names until they chose the iconic name PSquare while studying at the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA).
