These companions can be fought, captured, and used in various tasks such as base building and combat. With its unique blend of survival, humor, and exploration, Palworld has gained popularity for its engaging gameplay, even earning it the amusing title “Pokémon with Guns.”
The game launches in January 2024 for Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, allowing for single-player and online play with up to 32 players on a server. While Palworld was well received for its gameplay and content, it faced some criticism for its use of shocking humor and somewhat familiar design.
Nonetheless, it quickly became a hit, with 8 million copies sold in its first six days of Early Access and over 2 million concurrent players on Steam. Developed by Pocket Pair, the game draws inspiration from games like The Legend of Zelda and Ark: Survival Evolved, promising a unique and fun experience.

- Fixed an issue where sphere capture could be used if another player’s friend/base friend had 30% health or less.

- For the first time, the problem that the game always crashes and the save data is corrupted when the total number of friends captured by the guild reaches around 7000 has been fixed.
- The game no longer crashes even when the total number of captured objects exceeds 7000. However, save data (or the server’s world data in the case of a server) that was already in this state prior to this update still fails to load. We are continuing our efforts to permanently resolve this issue.
