‘Partially Deaf’ Adele Confesses The Pain From Her Ear Infection Was So Painful She Wanted To Have It Removed: ‘Worse Than Giving Birth!’

Adele recently revealed an unexpected health problem: partial deafness in one ear due to a severe infection.

The 36-year-old “Rolling in the Deep” singer experienced excruciating pain “worse than giving birth” after contracting a rare water bacteria while she was in Munich for the series “Adele in Munich”.

Adele opened up about her recent health struggles during a recent concert in Las Vegas, saying, “I had an ear infection, which was pretty serious.”

“I’ve never had anything like that before. It was the most painful thing that’s ever happened to me,” she continued. “It’s worse than giving birth. It’s a rare type of water bacteria. It’s very difficult to treat.”

Adele also expressed her desire to have her ear “chopped off” after being misdiagnosed and frustrated because she was prescribed the wrong antibiotic.

“I was on the wrong antibiotic for a few days and they managed to give me one that started working,” said the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter.

“I wanted to cut off my ears a few times,” she added.

While revealing that she no longer feels pain, she explained: “I don’t have any pain anymore which is great but I’m a little deaf in my left ear!”

The singer is no stranger to sharing her personal struggles when speaking out about the challenging health issues she faces.

Adele also admitted that she suffered from ringworm in the groin area in 2013. The condition often affects the upper thighs, buttocks and lower abdomen, causing discomfort and inconvenience, she revealed to a Las Vegas audience in June. .

Meanwhile, the “Hello” singer recently announced that she will be taking an extended hiatus from the entertainment industry after her Las Vegas residency ends.

“I will not see you for an incredibly long time and I will hold you dear in my heart,” she told her Munich fans last September.

Adele, who has been on “Weekends with Adele” for two years, revealed in July her intention to take a break after the show’s series is scheduled to end next month.

She also told German public broadcasting service ZDF at the time, “I don’t have any plans for new music at all.”

“I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while.”
