Patrick Cripps, 28, was born on March 18, 1995 in Perth, Western Australia, to Brad Cripps and Cath Crips.
He has a younger brother named Josh. As a child, he moved to the small farming town of Northampton in the Mid West region of Western Australia.
Growing up, Cripps developed a passion for Australian Rules Football and honed his skills playing junior rugby in Northampton.
He then moved to Perth where he joined the East Fremantle Football Club of the West Australian Football League (WAFL) to play in the junior and colts leagues.
