Early life and education
Pearl V Puri was born in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, India on 10 July 1989. He is the child of Vipin Puri and Pummy Puri.
He also has an elder sister named Reet Vohra. In 2013, he moved to Mumbai after completing his studies.

Pearl V Puri completed his schooling from Maharishi vidya mandir public school, Agra. He then went on to do his MBA from St. John’s College, Agra.
He was encouraged to become an actor after his ex-wife fell in love with Shah Rukh Khan. His father wanted him to join their private company but his mother supported his decision to become an actor.

Pearl V Puri started his career with the TV show Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat in 2013. In the talent show, he played the role of Ajay Tiwari.
He rose to fame playing the lead role of Abeer Malhotra in the TV series Badtameez Dil. Later, he acted in famous TV series like Naagin 3, Bepanah Pyaar and Nagarjuna.
At the Indian Telly Awards in 2006, Pearl V Puri won Best New Face (Male), Best Actor (Popularity Award) and Best Screen Partner (Popularity Award). In 2019, he won Best Actor (Critics Award) at the Gold Awards.
In June 2019, he teamed up with Kapoor again for the heart-warming and chilling secret drama Bepanah Pyaar on Colors TV, starring depressed alcoholic Raghbir Malhotra alongside Aparna Dixit and Ishita Dutta. The show went on air behind closed doors in February 2020.
In 2020, he featured in the music videos Teri Aankhon Mein and Teri Aankhon Mein Dance Cover. In September 2020, he began appearing in the second season of Zee TV’s popular show Brahmarakshas, marking his third consecutive collaboration with Kapoor, playing the lead role of Angad Mehra opposite Nikki Sharma.
The show first aired in November 2020 but was taken off the air within five months in April 2021 due to low ratings.
