Early Life & Education
Peter Kay was born and came into the world on July 2, 1973 in Bolton in Lancashire, England.
He was brought into the world by a couple; Deirdre O’Neill (mother) and the late Michael Kay (father), were designers. His mother, an Irish relative and Roman Catholic, raised Peter Kay with similar confidence after his father’s death.

He attended Saint Joseph RC High School and continued his studies at Liverpool University, where he focused on Drama, Theater Criticism and English Literature. He then moved to the Aldephi Campus School of Media, Music and Performance at the University of Salford.
Peter Kay also received an Honors degree in Arts from the University of Salford in 2016 in honor of his important work in the Entertainment business.
Career
Peter Kay has consistently captivated others and made people laugh from the start. He was essential to his “The Wizard of Oz” academic performance. After school, Peter Kay worked in a variety of places, doing low-maintenance work at warehouses, Bingo Rooms, rolling paper mills, gas stations, etc.
