“The rumors circulating this week are not true, and although I have met some people in passing, I am not related to any of the people mentioned,” the 45-year-old wrote late Wednesday night. The post, which received more than 90,000 likes, was kept safe with the comments section closed.
The “There You Go” singer’s Twitter, now known as X — the account she’s used since 2009 — currently has just two tweets, one of which is election-related and was retweeted in 2017. The second remaining post is a tweet retweeted by a fan from 2016.
Among other celebrities who have deleted the news on their accounts, Usher, 45, has offered a public explanation for his bizarre reset — and insisted that fans may have overreacted just a little — or maybe a lot.
“The account was hacked and you all ran after it! [laughing emojis] “See you tonight at Intuit Dome,” the “My Way” singer wrote on September 22. However, fans weren’t too pleased with that answer either.

While the New York singer awaits trial behind bars, ‘ENSTARZ’ reports that the scandalous rapper has begun a hunger strike over fears of being poisoned through meals at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he has been held since his arrest a week ago.
