Pokemon UNITE September 2023 Level List

SS level – super strong

Mewtwo occupies the top spot in the SS class thanks to its two distinct Mega Evolutions. Both forms of Mewtwo have similar stats and moves, making them extremely powerful choices. Despite attempts at balance, Mewtwo continues to dominate due to his inherent power, eclipsing other characters in the game.

S level – extremely strong

In the S tier we find legendary Pokémon and supports that have been in the game longer than Mewtwo, giving the developers time to adjust their balance. These characters, while still intimidating, are easier to deal with. Notable S-Class competitors include Urshifu, Zacian, Lapras, Comfey, Slowbro and Hoopa.

Grade A – Balanced and versatile

Class A showcases a well-balanced cast of characters that offers a fair and enjoyable playstyle. These characters have been in the game for a while and could use some tweaks. Importantly, they also had sound counter-attacking options that made the game feel less predetermined. A-level characters include Dodrio, Blastoise, Blissey, Clefable and Alolan Ninetales, suitable for a variety of team compositions.

Grade B – Solid but skill dependent

B-level characters have good balance, but their overall strength is slightly lower than A-level. While they have unique strengths, these roles require more experience to maximize their potential. Recommended for experienced players who have already honed their skills. Examples of this tier include Pikachu, Sableye, Absol, and Buzzwole.

Class C – Falling into obscurity

Tier C characters, while not weak, outperform other options on the roster. These characters became less popular due to the emergence of stronger picks. Players who have mastered these characters can still use them to great effect, but newbies are advised to steer clear if victory is their goal. Notable players in the C tier include Charizard, Velociraptor, Duraludon, and Garbiter, but they’re overshadowed by more powerful options.

Pokemon Unite Game

Pokémon Unite is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game in which two teams (each consisting of five players) compete in matches lasting up to 10 minutes. The goal is to accumulate the highest total points at the end of the game. In the event of a tie, the team that reaches the final score first wins.

A team can also win if the opponent chooses to surrender, but this can only happen halfway through the game and one team has received an absolute majority of votes. The game offers special events with unique rules and a “Quick Battle” mode, which features shorter 5-minute matches on smaller maps with 3-4 players per team, along with rule adjustments.

Players start with relatively weak Pokémon, which can grow stronger and unlock new abilities by capturing wild Pokémon, assisting in defeating wild Pokémon captured by teammates, and defeating enemy player Pokémon. Notably, Pokémon Unite lacks the traditional type system found in other Pokémon games, but introduces “Unite Moves,” unique ultimate abilities unique to each Pokémon that are unlocked at certain levels.

In addition, Pokémon Unite differs from traditional MOBAs in that it omits an in-game scoreboard and instead uses regular announcements to communicate current scores to prevent early exit from the game due to frustration. The game initially included over 20 playable Pokémon during beta testing, but has since expanded to include over 50 playable Pokémon, adding depth to its diverse roster.
