Position Tactique Modern Warfare 3, How to Enable Tactical Stance?

Location Tactics Modern Warfare 3

Tactical Position, or Tac-Stance, in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is a new aiming option that bridges the gap between instinctive shooting and point-and-shoot aiming. Developed by Activision, it provides greater mobility and visibility than traditional aiming sights, avoiding the wide spread of bullets when firing instinctively. It’s particularly effective in close encounters, allowing for faster reactions and greater accuracy.

Unique visual cues to the tactical position are the weapon’s canted angle and tighter reticle. Customization options in Modern Warfare 3 allow players to tailor tactical positional controls, choose activation methods and define behaviors to best suit their preferred play style in close combat.

How to enable tactical stance?

To open Tactical Stance in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, you slide or aim with the left trigger, then press the d-pad with your controller. If you want to change how Tactical Stance works, press the Menu or three-line hamburger button on your controller to enter the Settings menu. Then, select your controller, go to the Game section, and scroll down to Combat Behaviors.

In this menu you will see two Tactical Stance options: Tactical Stance Activation and Tactical Stance Behavior. There are five options for Tactical Stance activation – Off, ADS + Sprint, ADS + Melee, ADS + Down Button and Double Click ADS. The tactical stance behavior determines whether it stays on until you turn it off, lasts until you respawn, or stays on until you stop aiming. Change these settings to your liking to make your tactical stance work best for you and make your games more fun.
