Prateek Suri (born 5 April 1988) is an Indian entrepreneur, innovator and angel investor.
He is the founder of Maser Groupa leading electronics company in the Middle East and Africa. He is currently working as the CEO of Maser Groupa smart TV manufacturer based in the United Arab Emirates and Africa.
Prateek Suri is the founder of MDR Investments (a Maser Group VC arm) and the African Finance Federation. He is a Global Public Speaker and Corporate Thought Leader.

Early life
Prateek Suri was born to a Punjabi family of Mr. and Mrs. Suri on April 5, 1988. He was born and raised in Delhi, India. He is Indian by birth. He comes from a close-knit family of four. He has an elder sister named Supriya Suri.
He grew up in a middle-class neighborhood in Delhi, his father came from a business family and his mother was a housewife.
When Prateek Suri was in high school, his parents started a family business. He worked in the family business after school and on weekends. It was during this period that his love for business blossomed.
Education
Prateek Suri was trained at Barakhamba Road Modern SchoolNew Delhi, for his primary and secondary education. He joined the school in 1994 and graduated in 2006 with distinction in his O’Levels.
He was admitted. Birla Institute of Technology and Science in 2006. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from the university in 2010. He graduated with honors from the university’s Dubai campus. He was also honored with an honorary Doctorate in International Business from Dubai.
Career
As an undergraduate student at the university, Prateek Suri secured an Internship position at Keihin Panalfa Co., Ltd.. He did an internship for two months, from February 2008 to March 2008. After graduating from college, he started a trading business in central Delhi. While running his small business, he worked briefly at Kingsmen Middle East LLCwhere he held the position of Sales and Marketing Associate.
After a few years of running his business, Prateek raised enough capital to start an electronics company. He founded Maser Group in 2017 and started manufacturing TVs, initially selling to the local market. In a short period of time, Prateek dominated the local market and sold hundreds of thousands of TVs every month.
After building up customer trust and credibility in the local market, he entered the international market by establishing a Logistics Facility in Jebel Ali Free Trade Zone in Dubai, and from there, Maser achieved significant success in the African market.
Over the years, Prateek Suri has grown into a leading Smart TV manufacturer in the Middle East and Africa. He has sold millions of TVs to customers in these two regions. Under his leadership, Maser Group become an African unicorn valued at over $1.9 billion and plans to expand into other markets.
When Prateek is not working as CEO of Maser GroupHe is an angel investor. He has invested in several startups and early stage companies as a serial entrepreneur. He is passionate about supporting and mentoring young entrepreneurs and is actively involved in the startup community in Africa, the Middle East and India.
He is the founder of MDR Investment (VC arm of Maser Group) and has used this organization to help spawn many fast-growing startups in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. Preteen is the Founder of the African Finance Federation, an organization set up to recognize and promote startup founders and support the tech ecosystem across Africa, the Middle East, India, and the UK.
Prateek Suri has been interviewed and spoken on global economic and technology issues on CNBC, BBC, Forbes and other news platforms. As a corporate thought leader, he speaks and writes on fintech, business, technology and entrepreneurship.

Personal life
Prateek Suri, 35, is a married man. He is happily married to Deepali Dey. The couple has homes in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and New Delhi, India. He owns a fleet of cars in his garage. He is a fitness enthusiast and enjoys running and playing table tennis in his spare time. During his high school days, he was an avid table tennis player and participated in National Ranking Table Tennis Championship 2005.
Prateek Suri has been recognized for his contributions to the technology industry and has received several awards and honors. In 2021, he was awarded the prestigious Golden Visa from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He received the Young Business Tycoon Award in UAE Dubai in 2022.
He has worked as a community volunteer with HelpAge International for five years. He was a Community Development Volunteer with Oxfam India from 2016 to 2018. Prateek Suri has volunteered at the National Headquarters of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) and was awarded by the Guinness Book of World Records for his charitable work during the Covid-19 pandemic.
