Early life
Precious Moloi-Motsepe was born on 2 August 1964 and is from Soweto, South Africa.
She is of Tswana descent. Precious Moloi-Motsepe’s father was a school teacher and her mother worked as a nurse in Soweto.

Precious Moloi-Motsepe is the founder and CEO of (AFI) African Fashion International. African Fashion International is a fashion company that develops and promotes young African fashion designers and other African retail fashion brands. She is said to have founded the foundation in 2007.
Precious Moloi-Motsepe is also said to have founded the Motsepe Family Foundation in 1999 and she led the foundation for 18 years before stepping down.
In addition to her work in medicine, Precious Moloi-Motsepe has a strong passion for fashion. She is also the brains behind Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week held in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
