Early life and education
Prince Gozie Okeke is an Igbo man born on May 24, 1978 in Nnobi town in Anambra State.
He was born and brought up in Nobi town in Anambra State, Nigeria. However, he moved from his birthplace to Onitsha in early adulthood to open his own music studio. Prince Gozie Okeke lived in Onitsha for a long time.
Prince Gozi Okeke received his primary and secondary education in his hometown, Nobi town, Anambra State, where he obtained his High School Certificate.
Profession
After discovering his talent for singing at a very young age, Prince Gozie Okeke moved to Onitsha, set up a music studio and performed at weddings, funerals and other large occasions with a local gospel band.

Prince Gozi Okeke married gospel singer Princess Ngideka Okeke in 2000. The two released a joint album marking the beginning of their marriage. He is often praised for nurturing his wife in the art of music creation.
However, Prince Gozi Okeke and his wife Princess Ngideka Okeke parted ways in 2010. The exact reason for the separation has not been revealed but there are rumors that his wife left the musician after he was accused of homosexuality.
The gospel deejay released an album during their separation that deftly dealt with the homosexuality accusations and his separation from his wife. However, the singer’s fans criticized some of the tracks on his album, especially a song called Delilah, in which he seemed to disparage his wife in the lyrics.
