Quavious Keyate Marshall (born April 2, 1991), better known by his stage name Quavo, is an accomplished American rapper, actor, songwriter, and record producer.
He is best known as the co-founder and current lead singer of the hip-hop trio Migos. He is close to the other members of Migos and is Offset’s cousin and Takeoff’s uncle. He is also part owner of the famous FCF Glacier Boyz.
In addition to Migos, super rapper Quavo had four singles enter the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100, including DJ Khaled’s I’m the One and No Brainer, the former rising to No. 1. In 2018, the young man released his first solo album Quavo Huncho, which ranked No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

early life
Quavo was born in Athens, Georgia on April 2, 1991. The three members of the band Migos grew up together in Gwinnett County, a mostly suburban area located a half-hour northeast of Lawrenceville, Georgia.
His mother’s name was Edna Marshall, but there is no record of who his father was.
Quavo served as the starting quarterback for the high school football team during the 2009 season, his senior year.
In the 2009 season, when his school was 1-9, he completed 19 of 25 passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns to help his team win its first game of the season. Previously, he held the record in 2009 when he completed 28 passes in a game.

In 2008, Quavo formed a music group called Migos, which included rappers Takeoff and Offset. The three members of the group are immediate family members, raised by Quavo’s mother. He is Takeoff’s uncle, while Offset is Quavo’s cousin.
The music group was originally named Polo Club and was from Lawrenceville, Georgia. After reaching a consensus, the group finally decided to change the name to Migos because they felt that the name Polo Club was too common.
The band released their first full-length album, a mixtape titled Juug Season, on August 25, 2011. They followed that up with a mixtape titled No Label on June 1, 2012.

On December 21, 2017, Quavo publicly announced that he would release a song titled “Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho” in collaboration with famous singer Travis Scott on December 22, 2017 without any previous promotion. The album contains eight songs that debuted on the Billboard Hot 100.
Migos released a song titled “Culture II” on January 26, 2018. Quavo then delighted fans by releasing three singles for his upcoming debut solo album: “Lamb Talk,” “Workin Me,” and “Bubble Gum.” His song “Workin Me” peaked at number 52 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming his highest-charting single as a solo artist.
On May 18, 2019, American rapper Quavo performed “Future” with Madonna at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final.

On April 18, 2015, authorities ended a Migos concert at Georgia Southern University and arrested all three members of the group and several of their entourage.
Quavo was subsequently charged with possession of marijuana (an unspecified second-degree narcotic), possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm in a school secure zone.
Despite this, he was released on bail and later pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor marijuana charge but was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended in exchange for paying a fine.
In December 2020, Quavo was indicted for his alleged involvement in an early July 2021 attack on a limo driver.
