Rahama Sadau (born 7 December 1993) is a talented Nigerian singer, film producer and actress. She rose to fame with her debut film Gani ga Wane which was released in 2013.
She was born and raised in Kaduna State, Nigeria, where she participated in local dance competitions as a child. She has appeared in several Hausa and English films and speaks fluent Hindi.
Rahama Sadau is the first Hausa singer to feature in the top ten hottest Nigerian female stars in 2014 and 2015. She also won the Best Actress Award (Kannywood) at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2014 and 2015.

Early life and education
On December 7, 1993, Rahama Sadau was born into a Haji Ibrahim Sadau family in Kaduna, northwestern Nigeria.
She lived and grew up with her three sisters, Fatima Sadau, Zainab Sadau, Aisha Sadau and a younger brother named Haruna Sadau, in their hometown of Kaduna with their parents.
Rahama Sadau studied Human Resource Management at the School of Business and Finance at Eastern Mediterranean University in Northern Cyprus.

Rahama Sadau was introduced to the Indian film industry by Ali Nuhu in 2013. She had a few small appearances before she rose to fame with her role in Gani ga Wane, Jinin Jikina, in which she co-starred with Indian film industry actor Ali Nuhu.
On October 3, 2016, Rahama Sadau was suspended from performing in Kannywood by the main association, Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MOPPAN), for starring in a romantic music video with Jos-born singer ClassiQ.
In 2017, she wrote to MOPPAN to apologise for crossing the line following the intervention of Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. However, the ban on her was lifted in January 2018. In 2016, she was named the Face of Kano State of the year.
Rahama Sadau, who loves filmmaking, founded her own film production company, Sadau Pictures, in 2017 and produced her first film, Rariya, starring Sadiq Sani Sadiq, Ali Nuhu, Sani Musa Danja and Fati Washa. In MTV Shuga, she reenacted her acting career as a career coach.
Among the returning cast members of MTV Shuga Season 6, “Choices”, is Rahama Sadau, whose series aired in 2019. Other returning cast members include Timini Egbuson, Yakubu Mohammed, Uzoamaka Aniunoh and Ruby Akubueze.
