Rainbow Six Siege is an immersive online tactical shooter developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. The game originally released for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One on December 1, 2015, and expanded to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S for its fifth anniversary in 2020. It will then be released on Google Stadia in June 2021 and Amazon Luna in January 2022.

The latest Rainbow Six Siege update, version 2.54 (Y8S2.3), has been released for PS4, PC, PS5 and Xbox platforms. This update mainly introduces some minor tweaks and changes to enhance the gaming experience. In addition to these adjustments, the patch also includes stability fixes designed to address some existing issues reported by players.
While this update is focused on fixing specific issues, it doesn’t bring any major content additions like the previous update 2.38, which introduced new operators, gadgets, cross-platform functionality, and a ranked map. - Vigil will have the same glitch behavior as Nøkk.
- The ERC-7 video jammer is not deactivated when performing certain actions (such as filming), but instead triggers a glitch effect on the camera.
- Vigil is not immune to Lion’s EE-ONE-D and Grim’s Kawan Hive. It will be detected by both devices, but it can be prevented from being pinged by activating ERC-7.

- HEL gadget functionality no longer reduces mobile sounds.
- Maximum duration increased to 20 seconds (from 12 seconds).
- Added new failure sources such as flashing or pushing.
- Nøkk is no longer immune to Alibi’s Prisma. It will detect her, but she can be prevented from being pinged by activating the HEL gadget.
