According to TMZ, on the day Rich Homie Quan passed away, his girlfriend’s heartbreaking cries echoed in the 911 call.

The 34-year-old rapper’s body was discovered at his home in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday morning.

TMZ reports that the 911 call made by his girlfriend, Amber Williams, has been made public on their website.

Williams also said she could not feel a heartbeat.

She recalled that when she turned him over, she noticed Quan, whose real name is Dequantes Devontay Lamar, was “foaming at the mouth.”

The dispatcher remained in contact with Quan’s girlfriend, guiding her step by step and providing support until paramedics arrived on scene.

Williams’ sobs and screams can be heard on the call as she says, “He’s not waking up. His heart’s not beating or anything.”

Although Quan’s cause of death is unknown at this time, an autopsy has been scheduled for September 6, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Just before this surprising news broke, Quan shared a strange post on Instagram.

The “Type of Way” rapper captioned the post, “Clear vision even when listening to bullshit,” alongside a photo of him adjusting his glasses while wearing a green and white “89” jersey. The post was shared on Tuesday, two days before his mysterious death.

That same day, Quan announced his upcoming participation in a car and bike show during the Labor Day festival in El Dorado, Arkansas, via his X-file.

TMZ was first to report Quan’s sudden death, saying his family was “deeply saddened and devastated” by the sudden loss and was “desperately searching for answers.”

He first signed with Motown Records in 2012 and began his music career with his debut mixtape “I Go In on Every Song”. His debut album, “Rich as in Spirit”, was released in 2018.
