A script signed by Tupac from Above the rim will be auctioned in Los Angeles on November 21.
As AllHipHop reports, collectors can own a piece of Hip-Hop/Hollywood history with this rare item signed by Tupac Shakur from the classic 1994 film.
Shakur’s autographed “2PAC” on the front cover of the script in black ballpoint pen will be offered through Nate D. Sanders Auctions.
Interest from buyers is expected to be high given Shakur’s lasting impact on music and film.
In Above the Rim, Tupac Shakur plays Birdie Sheppard, the film’s villain.
The script measures 8.5 x 11 inches and contains color pages, representing different drafts.
It is in excellent condition except for some light wear and the laces are missing.
It comes with additional provenance from the man who played Mike Rollins in the film, actor David Bailey – giving it historical significance beyond the script itself.
The auction lot also includes a snapshot from the set and an official Letter of Authenticity from Bailey’s son.
This auction takes place 30 years after its release Above the riman iconic title in Shakur’s filmography and popular culture.
Although Shakur passed away in 1996 at the age of 25, his legacy still lives on in the hearts of many fans around the world.
