Early life and education
Lars Kuku, 39, was born in Accra, Ghana on July 23, 1984. He grew up in Dome, a suburb of Accra, where he developed his love for music.
He completed his junior high school education at Dome DAJHS and later completed his secondary education at Nungua Presec where he served as the school recreation officer.
He began his music career as a member of the band Smile Africa, which later disbanded. He then began his solo career and adopted the name Ras Kuuku, which means “the angel of the Lord.”
