Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi were 14 years old when they first met and started writing songs together. Their musical journey began in their teenage years and three years later they formed Red Cotton.

The four-member psychedelic rock band also includes Udi Naor and Arzi’s brother Yovav.

After releasing their first album,Memory CardIn 2006, the band planned to go to London, but only made it to Amsterdam.

The band eventually disbanded, but Arzi and Sadovnik decided to stay in Amsterdam and tour Europe to expand their musical horizons. During this time, they also founded a studio in Tel Aviv calledBreak it!“.

In 2010, Red Axes released their first EP, marking the official start of their career as a duo. Over the years, they have released music on several record labels, including “Crosstown Rebels”, “Hivern Discs”, “Permanent Vacation”, “Correspondent”, “Life and Death”, “Dark Entrance”, “Multicultural”, and I’m a cliché.

Their first full album, “Ice Ballad” was released in 2014 on the I’m a Cliche label. The album showcases their vocal and guitar-heavy sound, including collaborations with Abrão and Bauhaus’Bela Lugosi is dead.
