Katie Ginella, a mother of four, shares her three older children with her ex-husband Andrew Sundseth. It is unclear when they married. However, the marriage ended in a messy divorce that also dragged their children into tragedy.

Matt and Katie’s first child is a daughter named Kaili Sundseth. On Kaili’s 20th birthday in April 2024, Katie wished her daughter, “20 years ago on my 20th birthday, I gave birth to Kaili. Today we celebrate 20 and 40. Entering the new decade with my mini. 🩷.”

Another son, Maxon Sundseth, turned 14 in October 2023. Their third child, Gavin Sundseth, was born in 2006.

In a 2018 court document, Katie’s ex-husband, Andrew, failed to promote the health and safety of the children. He refused to cooperate and sign the documents necessary for Kaili to withdraw from school in Georgia and enroll in school in Florida, where Katie was living at the time. Before Kaili moved to Florida, Andrew told Kaili that he was throwing away her belongings and that she would never have a room in his house again.

After Kaili moved in with her mother, Andrew trashed Kaili’s remaining belongings and turned her room into an Xbox room.

According to court documents, Andrew was charged with assaulting his young son Gavin.

In a post by Matt, Kaili has no relationship with her biological father. “I would note here that Kaili always calls me “Padre.” I believe she would tell you that this is because, by definition, I am not her father. Unfortunately, she has no relationship with her biological father. But it is also because I am a San Diego Padres fan,” Matt shared.

However, the two boys have a good relationship with their father as they often appear in family photos.

Katie met Matt Ginella in 2014. With just 26 guests, Katie and her husband had a small wedding. Katie married Matt Ginella, a digital artist, nine years ago. The couple got married in a Missouri wedding with a “rustic” theme. Katie was in her thirties when she met Matt.

“Kaili is, by definition, my stepchild. I met her mother when Kaili was 10, almost 30. It was Kaili who sat me down and explained what I needed to do, who I needed to be, to get her to agree to date her mother. Over a year later, instead of asking my father-in-law for Katie to get married, I asked Kaili. Luckily, she gave me the green light,” Matt wrote in a post.

A few years ago, the Bravo rookie appeared on Say Yes to the Dress. Although Katie got married in 2015, her Say Yes to the Dress episode didn’t air until two years later. In a video she shared, Katie is seen trying on a dress that she really likes, but her friend says the plunging neckline is what turned her on. “This dress is so dreamy,” she exclaimed. Ultimately, Katie decided to wear a completely different outfit on her wedding day.

Meanwhile, Andrew is married to his wife Olivia Sundseth. They exchanged their wedding vows in August 2020. Talking about Olivia, she is working as a Realtor, Real Estate Consultant at Coldwell Banker Realty – 400 North/Lake Lanier Office.
