Richard and his younger brother Yashua, two teenagers with big dreams of becoming music stars, decide to audition together for La Banda, a highly anticipated Latin American music competition. The competition is created by a powerful team, including Ricky Martin, a world-famous singer, and Simon Phillip Comwell, a successful businessman and reality TV judge. La Banda aims to discover and assemble a group of talented young singers to form a remarkable Latin pop band.
Unfortunately, Yashua was eliminated in the second round of the competition, which debuted in 2015. However, Richard made it to the “Middle Round” and eventually won a spot in CNCO, an all-male Latin American band. Out of 12 contestants, Richard successfully competed and became the second member of the group.
The finale of the competition was a lavish event featuring a performance by international music phenomenon Pitbull.
Richard impressed the judges with his vocals, instrumental skills, dance moves and songwriting abilities.
