Rihanna’s sharp Jan. 6 clap-back silences Trump supporters who criticize her election post

Bad Girl RiRi is back because Rihanna has returned to social media to silence some Donald Trump supporters who criticized her election post.

Taking to her Instagram account on November 4, Rihanna announced that she would “sneak into the polls” and vote with her son’s passport in the US election on November 5 because she can’t do that.

In a video, where she appeared to support Kamala Harris, the 36-year-old superstar wrote: “POV: im trying to sneak into the polls using my son’s #voteCauseticant passport. While defending p- –ies and firing p– – everything can happen in just one vote #voteCauseicant #TanSuitSeason.”

However, her joke did not go down well with some and she was criticized online for her choice of words.

“That attitude is why we want to make America great again. You want to cheat to win. So disappointing,” one person wrote in the post’s comments section.

The “We Found Love” singer attracted comments and unleashed backlash.

“Lol! When you guys stop burning ballot boxes, come check on me,” she said again, according to Independence.

Another woman then told Rihanna: “Illegal voting is a crime. Maybe she should be arrested for trying.”

“Shut up Karen,” Rihanna gave in response.

Another woman posted a lengthy explanation of why she voted for a “secure border” before telling Rihanna: “This is exactly why celebrities don’t should post their political views. How could you mislead your fans?” [sic]? Let’s listen to music, ladies.”

Rihanna issued a response referencing the infamous January 6 incident at the US capitol building, when Trump supporters attacked the building in an attempt to overturn the election results.

“Where were you on January 6th? Hold on to your discounted crotch. We’re here fighting for its rights!” [sic]”, the male singer responded.

Rihanna is just one of many music stars supporting Kamala Harris in the upcoming election. Katy Perry and Lady Gaga both appeared at Harris’ rally. Perry gave a passionate speech in which she declared her support for Harris to protect her daughter’s future.

“Four years ago, I became a mother,” Perry said. It was the best decision I ever made. Orlando (Bloom) and I welcome our daughter, Daisy, and she is the reason I voted for Kamala Harris.”

“I know she will protect my daughter’s future, your children’s future, and our family’s future. So Pittsburgh, make Kamala Harris the next president of the United States, ” she continued.
